The nacho cheeze is a macadamia nut based recipe from Ani's Raw Kitchen. I used peppers from my own garden that have been dehydrated and made into a powder using my coffee grinder. I made it so hot I almost can't eat it. The heart shaped bread is my ex girlfriend's idea. she's cute like that. Continue reading ...

keeping things simple this week cause I've been so busy. here's a picture of a smoothie with just young coconut water and meat with ice and a couple squirts of agave nectar. so good I may have one of these everyday during the summer. i got a request for ginger bread. avocado fries!

I don't know where this idea originated from, but there's a million different versions online and you can decide what works best for you. I seriously eat this a few times a week. I cut an avocado in half, peel the skins off, and slice each half into quarters. 8 pieces in total. Now the great seasoning. Without any specific measurements, I mix nutritional yeast, sea salt, pepper, chili powder, raw sesame seeds, and anything I feel like throwing in. bread your avocado strips and there ya ... breakfast of champions
Posted by John Johnson on Friday, February 12, 2010,
worked on the march episode of my podcast last night. woke up pretty late this morning and didn't have time for a big breakfast. My dinner last night was only a couple oranges and a raw bar from the store. For breakfast I made a salad of baby greens, some homemade cheese (walnuts, sea salt, and nutritional yeast,) and dressing (mustard, agave, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar,) a sunflower and sesame cracker, and a smoothie of fresh young coconut meat and water, almonds, dates, and cacao p... Don't have anything special to report tonight. I'm still worn out from my devastating trip to Miami. But I felt like I should post something so you'll all keep coming back. I had company the other night and needed to whip something up fast. I started by blending some cashews really really good with a few dates and some vanilla bean seeds. This isn't stuff I really measure anymore. It was about a cup or more of cashews and maybe a half tablespoon of vanilla and 3 or for pitted medjool da... Continue reading ...

I'm just so behind. Getting ready to fly to Miami for the superbowl. Look for me on TV. I'll be the guy in a blue and white Colts jersey. Made the greatest smoothie in history for breakfast today. Coconut water and meat, with a scoop of almonds I soaked a few days ago and never used, 3 medjool dates with just a small amount of agave nectar, and some cacao powder. I don't have one of those fancy Vita-mix blenders so I had to blend this thing like crazy. It turned out so good it was like... Continue reading ...
