I recently bought some very expensive raw tahini to make something.  of course I forgot what it was.  So today I was inspired to make some hummus.  Hummus is made with chickpeas that are usually roasted.  When I went to Whole Foods today I bought a 4oz thing of sprouted chickpeas.  Lots of raw hummus recipes use all kinds of substitues for chickpeas (garbanzo beans,) and I wanted to find one with the real thing.  I ended up finding a couple videos on youtube that were ok.  In the end I just kinda freestyled my own thing.  Here goes:  Through 4oz of sprouted chickpeas in the food processor.  Added some olive oil.  added some salt.  added 1 clove of garlic.  I could have probably added more, but I don't like a really strong garlic taste.  Added a couple spoons of raw tahini.  I blended it as much as I could.  I kept adding additional water and oil until I got the consistency I wanted.  Sprinkled some paprika on top and ate with some raw crackers I made in the dehydrator.  More on those another time.  I'll have some salad later and this hummus will go nicely on top.
