Don't have anything special to report tonight.  I'm still worn out from my devastating trip to Miami.  But I felt like I should post something so you'll all keep coming back.  I had company the other night and needed to whip something up fast.  I started by blending some cashews really really good with a few dates and some vanilla bean seeds.  This isn't stuff I really measure anymore.  It was about a cup or more of cashews and maybe a half tablespoon of vanilla and 3 or for pitted medjool dates.  I prolly put in a pinch of salt too.  I let it set in the fridge for a couple hours, stirring it once in a while.  Eventually I strained it a couple times with a nut milk bag.  Almond milk seems to be most popular with people, but I always love cashew milk.  The cookies in the picture with the cashew milk are the standard dates and pecans mixed together with a small amound of vanilla and some fresh lemon juice for fun.  There's a picture I added of some almond milk I made a while ago and added some raw cocao powder and agave to sweeten like chocolate milk.  The other picture of cookies is the same idea as the others except instead of using pecans I used the pulp from a batch of almond milk.  I put them in the dehydrator overnight to see what would happen and they turned out great!
